Tool technology is constantly developing - not least thanks to innovative power from KEMPF. There is always something new to report and we would like to inform you about it here.

In addition to current news from our company and about new products, we will give you an overview of important events and trade fair dates. So please have a look from time to time. It is worth it.

We present deburring solutions made of high-performance ceramics at the "Expertdays on robotic material removal" at SCHUNK in Brackenheim
Remove cross or transverse bores precisely and reliably by machine. A major problem in almost every machining manufacturing. That's why we set out on a mission to show how it works.
DMG MORI Wernau organizes the "TECHNOLOGY FRIDAYS" next week on Friday, April 01, 2022, together with us an exciting day around the topic "#burrfree straight out of the machine". As deburring specialists, us at KEMPF will be on site and not only provide tooling solutions.
Increasingly more complex and demanding component geometries, new materials or material combinations make the required burr-free edges and precise surfaces for subsequent manufacturing processes more and more difficult in the production of parts. For example coating, bonding, welding or assembly.
When it comes to niche components for special areas of application, very small series are usually required, but the quality of their manufacture must not be inferior to series components in any way. They often have to be manufactured even more precisely and better. But when it comes to highly complex space components, absolute precision and quality are required, even in prototype production. KEMPF, the deburring specialist from Reichenbach-Fils was also able to provide the necessary deburring solutions for this and to completely automate the burr-free production.
In the current edition of dihw No. 4 2021, the advantages of ceramic fiber tools in deburring applications are highlighted over four pages.
Once again, we were able to score with our innovative tool solutions and help the company ISAB Technology in Karlstein to achieve burr-free machining directly from the machine. The trade journal Werkstatt + Betrieb reports on this in the current issue.
Finally trade fairs are taking place again, finally we can exchange ideas in person and finally we will be exhibiting together with other deburring specialists with a large joint stand at DeburringExpo.
In order to make the production of an automotive component ready for series production, two inner contours that were difficult to access were to be deburred. The deburring, which was initially still carried out manually, therefore also had to be carried out completely by machine. As a partner for deburring solutions for Ohm&Häner Metallwerke, which as a manufacturer and complete service provider for aluminum castings also supplies the automotive industry with highly specialized parts, KEMPF was able to align the deburring of the corresponding component in such a way that in the future they would come off the line completely burr-free. The total time required for complete machining could thus be significantly reduced and the quality as well as the tool life improved at the same time.
Optimization of manufacturing for plastic medical components
Innovative solutions make machining efficient, sustainable and fit for the future! Anyone who wants to find out more before the EMO in Milan can already do so on 23.09.2021 in Böblingen. Of course, we will also be there.
Our portfolio in the field of "solid carbide drills" has significantly increased and of course also improved. With our drilling professionals, the KEMPF ExBurrDrill, the KEMPF MultiDrill TriCut, the KEMPF SteelDrill DualCut and the KEMPF InoxDrill Dual Cut, we also have four special drills in our range that set standards in terms of feed and speed. Our highlight is the KEMPF ExBurrDrill, with which burrs can be avoided and thus, in the best case, a downstream deburring process is not necessary.
