Our field service Max Staab was once again able to help a manufacturer of medical components to make the production of special plastic components completely burr-free. In the past, the inserted threads always had a burr, so that the parts always had to be reworked manually. With the PCD thread milling cutter for threads BSP (G1/4) supplied by us, this problem was completely eliminated. Since then, the component can be produced directly from the machine absolutely burr-free. In addition, the PCD milling cutter also enables an increase in tool life of up to 20 times compared to a thread milling cutter made of carbide.
