In order to make the production of an automotive component ready for series production, two inner contours that were difficult to access were to be deburred. The deburring, which was initially still carried out manually, therefore also had to be carried out completely by machine. As a partner for deburring solutions for Ohm&Häner Metallwerke, which as a manufacturer and complete service provider for aluminum castings also supplies the automotive industry with highly specialized parts, KEMPF was able to align the deburring of the corresponding component in such a way that in the future they would come off the line completely burr-free. The total time required for complete machining could thus be significantly reduced and the quality as well as the tool life improved at the same time.
