Wherever hydraulic systems are expected to be absolutely reliable and safety-relevant components are controlled under high pressure, a single chip can mean the proverbial "technical knockout" for the entire system and, in extreme cases, endanger lives. The "human factor" plays a very important role here, because manual (deburring) work can mean uneven quality and possible deviations from the target. In order to eliminate this error component and in the future to implement completely machine processing, including deburring, even for smaller production quantities, the company Weidemann Hydraulik GmbH is taking unconventional paths. The specialist for hydraulic block construction is implementing two machine deburring solutions in the manufacturing process on the CNC machine, including a high-speed deburring "HSD" tool from the portfolio of deburring specialist KEMPF GmbH from Reichenbach-Fils.
